Drill panel views, pivots and filters that stay put
Bars, donut or table for any breakdown, pivot a level to another dimension without starting over, and dashboards that remember the filters behind the numbers they show.
A week of using drill-down on real data turned into a round of refinements.
One view at a time
The drill panel shows a breakdown as Bars, Donut or Table, chosen with a compact control. Small levels open as bars; large ones open as a table with a filter box, because two hundred bars help nobody. Bars show the twenty largest members and say so; the donut is offered only where it is honest — a handful of members of an additive measure. Whatever you are looking at is what Add to dashboard pins.
Pivot without going back
The level badge at the end of the breadcrumb is now a menu: switch the current level to any other dimension the figure carries, keeping everything you have already scoped. The breadcrumb is the scope you applied, in the order you applied it, so pivoting across hierarchies never hides a step; popping a crumb returns you to where you were.
Honest edges
- Ratio measures such as margin percentages no longer show a summed "level total" — per-member ratios do not add up, and the panel says so.
- Rows with no value for a dimension appear as one (unassigned) member, counted in the total and clearly not something you can scope to. Previously they could shift the axis labels by one.
- A level shows a loading placeholder while it loads instead of a premature "no rows".
Filters that stay put
When you apply filters, the dashboard now remembers them with the numbers they produced. Reloading shows the same filters in the bar, drill-down and cross-filter use them, and a scheduled refresh keeps them, so what the bar says and what the widgets show never drift apart.
Also in this release
- Models: every Vertex AI Gemini model is available to agents, with the latest Flash-Lite as the default and requests routed to the right region for each model generation.
- Workflows: the folder automation dialog — binding a workflow to a folder event — was redesigned.
- Conversations: the voice agent stack was upgraded, and WhatsApp voice notes and conversation history are handled correctly again.
- Horizontal bar charts size their label column to the longest label and truncate gracefully instead of clipping.
